Steam-Water-Oxygen Cleaning and Passivation (SWOCP)

We are constantly improving our technology of Steam-Water-Oxygen Cleaning and Passivation (SWOCP) of metal of water-steam circuit inner surfaces, enchasing its quality and widening its application to other heat and power equipment of power plants, including deaerators and condensate-feed circuit pipelines.

Our company designs SWOCP and technological schemes of cleaning with approval from boiler manufacturer, supervise scheme assembly and implements turnkey SWOCP technology with quality of cleaning in compliance with a European VGB-R 513 standard, and also uses “mirror” cleaning control, which fundamentally differs the enterprise from all the other firms that offer SWOCP services.

Besides its own developments SPE Energetika i Nauka implements other innovations in the sphere of power engineering, that increase the efficiency of SWOCP and simplifies further operation of equipment:

Modernization of drum boiler blow-off scheme

Modernization involves the increase of sludge removal efficiency from the lower water chambers and lowering of water and heat losses during periodical blow-offs of the boiler. Modernization is implemented with the approval from boiler manufacturer during implementation of SWOCP.

Temperature inserts

System of control (and diagnosis) of peak pollution density of radiant-section tubes without specimen cutoffs. Temperature inserts are manufactured individually, according to construction specificity of the boiler, and are installed according to preliminarily designed scheme, which allows to achieve the maximum efficiency of control. Temperature inserts are installed with the approval from boiler manufacturer during implementation of SWOCP.
