During all of its existence SPE Energetika i Nauka has been actively participating in implementation and development of SWOCP technology co-operating with the biggest heat engineering institutions of Russia (VTI, CKTI), boiler and turbine factories, (BKZ, TKZ, ZiO, LMZ, HTGZ), and has a whole series of its own developments and know-how.

In contrast with other firms SPE Energetika i Nauka has a long experience of practical implementation of SWOCP on boilers of different types.

The most imporortant projects for our company are:

  • Ekibastuz State District Power Plant 2, power unit #2 (1991-1994) — the very first implementation of SWOCP on SKD 500 MWt power unit.
  • Tomsk Central Thermal Power Plant 3 (1997) — the first usage of intensified cleaning of furnace waterwalls on BKZ-500-140 boiler.
  • JSC Tulachermet (2002) — implementation of cleaning in the situation of high initial contamination of boiler inner surfaces (installation period of c. a. 4 years).
  • Kazan Central Thermal Power Plant 2 (2002) — modernization of the scheme of air injection into furnace waterwalls.
  • Ulan-Ude Central Thermal Power Plant 2 (2004) — the use of side steam with firing of its own wall-fired burners during SWOCP implementation.
  • Obra Power Plant, India (2004) — development of the project with 100% fulfilment of constructive documentation for implementation of SWOCP on 5 boilers (first time abroad).
  • Uong-Bi Power Plant, Vietnam (2004-2006) — implementation of SWOCP according to VGB-R 513 quality standard on 300 MWt power unit.
